Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These terms apply to all driving lessons provided by Apricot Driving School. By booking a lesson, you agree to these terms. Our instructor is DVSA approved and all lessons comply with DVSA standards.

Lesson bookings

• Lessons are booked directly with your instructor via WhatsApp or through our website booking form.
• A booking is confirmed once your instructor has replied to confirm the date and time.
• You must hold a valid provisional driving licence before your first lesson.

Lesson rates and payment

• Single lessons: £33 per hour
• Block of 10 lessons: £310 (paid in advance)
• Payment is accepted via bank transfer or cash, arranged directly with your instructor.
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.

Cancellation policy

• Cancel with 48+ hours notice: no charge
• Cancel with 24–48 hours notice: 50% of lesson fee
• Cancel with less than 24 hours: full lesson fee
• No-show without prior contact: full lesson fee

Cancellations must be communicated directly to your instructor via WhatsApp or phone.

Block booking terms

• 10-lesson blocks must be used within 6 months of the first lesson.
• Unused lessons are refundable minus lessons taken, at the per-lesson rate of £33.
• Lessons cannot be transferred to another student.
• Same instructor is guaranteed throughout your block unless agreed otherwise.

Test day car use

• Our dual-control vehicle may be used for your DVSA practical test by arrangement.
• Availability must be confirmed with your instructor at least 2 weeks before your test date.
• Use of the car for the test is included in the lesson rate if a lesson precedes the test.

Conduct

• Lesson times include travel to and from the pickup point. Please be ready at the agreed time.
• Your instructor reserves the right to end a lesson if the student is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or behaving in an unsafe or abusive manner. The full lesson fee applies in this case.

Liability

• Apricot Driving School holds full public liability insurance. All lessons are conducted in a dual-control vehicle for safety.
• We are not liable for any DVSA test fees lost due to a student's failure to attend or pass their test.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
